Is the NSAC making the right moves with Canelo and Munguía because the pressure is on and all eyes are fixed on them? Or will this be a new standard for the Nevada State Athletic Commission? If they let a novice (McGregor 0-0) fight a 20+ year pro (Floyd 49-0) surely the commission hasn’t always had the interest of fighters as their top priority. To me this is the commission still trying to save face after the whole Canelo ordeal erupted. But if their decision on Canelo and now this with Jaime is a precedent I think that’s great for boxing.Comment

But we all know how rumor mills go. If NSAC can come ip with a good enough reason why Spike can’t fight too,...then we might just get a good matchup. I have a feeling itll be Dev or Andraide. At least i hope so. Charlo’s to scared to step out of the high grass. Lions only,..... yeah right. What the ef ever.
They won't even fight Andrade. You fools can't really believe Jermall would've even been under serious consideration....smh
He's doing what he's supposed to do, fighting in his already scheduled eliminator to become the WBC mandatory. That way Abel can use any excuse he wants, but they'll have no choice but to fight charlo, or get stripped.
Anybody who believes they'd give Charlo a second thought for May 5th has to be a complete imbecile.
The fact that some dude named Spike O'Sullivan is the frontrunner for the fight, you'd think would tell you dudes something.Comment

Floyd, having never weighed over 151lbs for a fight in his life, set the weight at 154lbs (about where McGregor is basically at his optimal weight). You add that Floyd's physical prime was basically as a big 140lber, having not really stopped anyone in years, and I can't see how anyone could say the physicality of the fight was unfair.
Golovkin and his camp were literally trying to fight a 20-year old welterweight fighter who's basically still can crushing to get his experience in (just starting his run at 154lbs).
May as well try to fight "Pretty Boy" Josh Kelly; at least he'd be further along than Manguia is.Comment

Ramirez would have been a better option since he can step up in 168 and win a belt there. But no, they instead chose another possibly Willie Monroe and Dominic Wade.Comment
