Guys, blaming GGG for a bad opponent on May 5 is like blaming a robbery victim for not having a better lock... what about the guy who robbed the place?

NSAC actually doing their job?? This is the most shocking news all year.

I for one agree, that kid is a good prospect...but prospect is all he is. Spike would be a much better opponent but Andrade may be even better...I'm just not sure GGG would take such a fight on such short notice and I can't blame him for that.

Good job by the NSAC...again! The young man was too green! I hope DiBella forces the issue for IBF too! Too many guys sitting around waiting for champions who don't defend their titles! I still hope Andrade is the selection, even though that fight is still not worth $70!

Charlo is already the WBC #1 contender AND manditory to GGG’s WBC belt.

Munguia? WTF? If GGG is so eager to cement his legacy before he becomes a senior citizen - then the options are many, varied and lucrative - except if Al Haymon has all the remaining talent locked up.

Surely an Andrade fight, Dereyavchenko, Charlo, Heck even Chavez Jr would be preferable to another dead end, hype job fight.

Golovkin has lost something. He used to be busy, ready for anyone and knew how to completely dismantle opponents whilst still managing a smile.

Somethings got to give, change, anything. I personally think he needs to sack Abel Sanchez. GGG has 2-3 years at best before he's too slow, and since he's decided ever since the Jacobs fight to become a 'boxer' more than a pressure fighter who cuts the ring off and cuts fighters down ala Julio Cesar Chavez style, then he's going to get out-boxed.
Have you ever thought that maybe the reason he's not dismantling opponents it's because he stopped fighting a bunch of bums that weren't very good to begin with??
That usually happens when a fighter steps up in competition....
              Just think about it..

"NSAC doesn’t think the talented but untested prospect is ready for such a significant step up in competition" but last year they sanctioned a boxing match between a guy who was 49-0 and a guy who was making his pro boxing debut.

This was ****** to begin with. They only wanted him because he's a Mexican. lol But did GGG really think you can just swap any Mexican on Cinco De Mayo and it would sell? Sure he's mexican but most fans have no clue who he is, he's not even a middleweight, he hasn't fought anybody top ranked at any weight class, and fought at 147 just a year ago.

GGG has better fighters, hell mandatory fighters that are all on record saying they can step in short notice. And you if you don't like those options then just move your date to June where you have more time to fill out a card and promote a fight. It's not like GGG is Mexican or has ever fought on Cinco De Mayo the date means nothing to him. Fighting Spike or dragging Munguia up in weight with 4 weeks notice is just bad business. If you thought GGG/Jacobs/Lemiuex were flops just wait to you see how bad this PPV sells. LMAO

Yup NSAC was ****** to sanction that fight but at least Mcgregor was a top combat fighter, the bigger man and Floyd was not a knockout artist at all. Heading into that fight Floyd hadn't knocked out anybody in a decade (excluding the sucker punch BS from the Ortiz fight) and was 40 years old coming off 2 year retirement. The chances of Mcgregor getting seriously hurt were low. GGG is a knockout artist, active fighter, and the bigger man. The chances of Munquia getting hurt are greater. And he doesn't even have months to prepare for the fight like Mcgregor did getting thrown in with a couple weeks. This fight shouldn't of been sanctioned.

GGG has the option to face andrade or derevyanchenko but they want to fight that irish guy or this kid instead

Idk how anyone could defend this cherrypicking
