At this point Golovkin should fight whoever he wants, he's gotten the short end of the stick and now scrambling to find an opponent with 30 days to a championship fight. Ain't like anybody here paying for a ppv that doesn't carry Canelo's name. Wish BJS' would just say "let's do it may 5th" at this point, that's the only alternative fight that carries any real marketabilty at this point. The options, while some are credible threats, ain't selling any ppv buys. Andrade and Dereyvenchenko would be great HBO premium fights but PPV? Not a chance in hell.

Yea, let me know when Floyd and Canelo took on a prime Andrade type fighter with 4 weeks to go. Floyd wouldn’t even fight a prime khan after polling fans.

GGG was just trying to get top fights then, Andrade wanted nothing to do with him. Said three years—translation, when I see ggg slow.

If Andrade is so good, then when did Floyd, Canelo, etc. take on that caliber of prime filter, at 36, with 4 weeks to go Andrade little upside.

Andrade is bigger, younger, southpaw. Few fans. No upside. He’s in a win win. Lose, he gets beat by ggg on four weeks notice.

GGG loses, he loses everything he’s waited for. For a guy if he’d beat others would just claim he hadn’t done jack and had little notice.
