He is a high ranked middleweight and would be a good fight for GGG on May 5th. GGG has been training a long time and needs to fight on May 5th. If Saunders could be ready to fight on May 5th that would be who GGG would fight. Saunders can't be ready that soon and GGG can't be waiting that long. It's nobody's fault. It's just the way things are. Andrade would be an acceptable title defense against a top 5 contender.He is a better guy for GGG to fight than some of the other fighters who have been talked about as possible opponents.

WAY better fight than some unheard of 24-0 Mexican, let that kid prove himself against some top 10-20 fighters he doesn't need to go up a division to fight Golovkin of all people.
I'd also be very happy to see GGG Vs. Deryv get made If we can't get Andrade.

My guess would be money. I don't know what Andrade would ask for and how well this fight will do with the short build up. I think it would be difficult to pay him a lot.

Surely would still be a career high pay day for this dude, can't imagine he has been paid million dollar purses in the past, I just think this is the fight to see May 5th, it has to happen if anything is right in the world anymore lol.

Would definitely like to see this fight. Have wanted it for a while now. I never respected Canelo until he fought Lara when he didn't have to. If GG fought Andrade he'd definitely prove he's got balls.

I guess its a win for both these guys for stepping up, moreso for Dre after ducking Charlo and Lara.

I watched Boo Boo at the World Amateur Championships in 2007 in Chicago and thought he had the potential to be something.

Now, almost 11 years later.... he finally speaks up.
