Tyson by mid round KO. Neither Joshua or Wilder are exceptional fighters. Biggs was a better boxer than either of them and Tyson handled him with ease.

Biggs beat Tyson up in the Ammy's! (kidding) actually he did but just goes to show how things get different quick in the big leagues.

I tell ya the more I post here the more I find it regretable that people are so ready to discard the past. When Tyson was coming up he was a wrecking ball. He beat plenty of talented guys big and small...if he struggled a little more with bigger men so be it, he still won. But some idiots here think that just because of his size Joshua beats Tyson, that is ridiculous.

Watch the Frank Bruno fight, that should tell you everything you need to know.

Pretty sure Biggs beat Lewis in the amateurs too. Won Olympic gold and was a hot prospect at the time.

He was, very much the hot prospect. He had some personal problems but its still strange because he obviously could fight. I think that shows the talent in those days. A lot of guys could fight but out of them some were more suited to the professional game and would prove to thrive in it, while others, not so much.

The greatest college football teams ever would be great...and while many could prognosticate about how they would do against a professional football team, perhaps the real issue is how different the game is on these two different levels.

Cmon lets be real here, that Tyson would assault the current division. He'd annihilate most of the guys but AJ would survive a bit longer, maybe even go 12 as a couple of guys did by jabbing and grabbing.

Just think about it...that Tyson on his way to a world title would make a mockery of the division today.

So far I've heard some pretty bad comparisons to AJ/Wilder.

Prior to fighting Tyson, Biggs' last 5 opponent's record was a combined 78-34. Biggs' KO ratio is also literally half of AJ/Wilder's.

Biggs would immediately lose by KO to Diamiani, Mason, and a UD to Hunt.

Frank Bruno was previously stopped by Witherspoon and Smith, both guys with 50% KO ratios. Bruno was also barely 228 at his peak when he fought Tyson, that is the same size as Bryant Jennings not AJ. AJ has eaten clean shots on the chin from much bigger punchers like Wlad.

Overall you have to believe Mitch Green, Diamani, Ribalta, Mason, Hunt, and a host of other journeymen/part time boxers were some how capable of doing things that AJ/Wilder cannot.

21 year old Tyson was incredible. His speed, power and head movement would be too much for AJ and he would stop him within 3 rounds. Most importantly, he was super fit in them days and could fight, at pace, for 12 rounds if needed.

I see your posts and they're not bad, but dude come on man. This is ludicrous. Just cuz Wilder took some shots and didn't fold from a 40 year-old Ortiz doesn't mean he can hang with the best version of Tyson.

Lets keep it real, if that wasn't Wilder and some b-level cat the ref would have stopped the fight in the 7th.

Young Tyson really had great movement and (obviously) could crack. I think AJ would be another on the highlight reel.
I might pick AJ to beat the post-prison Tyson though.
