Bro come on...wasting your time with this conspiracy theory tape nonsense. Watch the flap of tape fly up in slow mo before he even touches it with the other glove. And on the top video, the little right forearm from Parker to the chin directly after the headbutt coming in. Of all the things he could've done if he was hurt to buy time do you know where that option lies on the level of difficulty? That would be like number 10. Could've spit out a mouthpiece, claimed a thumb to the eye, so on and so on. I don't know why people just can't let a win be a win. You can't argue with results.Comment

Yelp, the same guy AJ ducked when he was the #1 ranked contender for WBAHaha... worry about ur own fighter who was holding on for dear-life after being seriously hurt by an old slow Cuban ....so visibly hurt that the Dr had to SUPPOSEDLY chk him b4 allowing him to continue AFTER the timeout btwn RDS. And Ortiz is not a big puncher either!Comment

AJ fought scared, boring, with no heart, knowing Eddie paid everybody off, picked this ref out of Matchroom camp, to protect AJ and step in to break up any harm to AJs glass chinComment

"And in fact, I saw Anthony Joshua get buzzed by Joseph Parker and then pull his own tape off his glove to create his own timeout"
I would say AJ is the new David Blaine ....
Except that I don't think even David Blaine could pull off a trick like that - wearing 10oz boxing gloves and while "buzzed" from a punch in the head by a world heavyweight boxing champion - without anybody spotting him do it but Lou DiBella.

I don't disagree. A lot of the folks running that ref saved Wilder storyline haven't even watched the fight.the extra 10 second was actually for old man ortiz to help him recover from shooting his load.....the old man punches himself out in the 7th trying to unload and hurt wilder.....it doesnt bother wilder at all as wilder signaled at the end of the round with his head shake...wiilder never left his feet
this actually helped ortiz more than anyoneComment

No one is arguing the results. What I saw was Joshua grab the tape and make it unravel more. He may have tried to rip the loose part off. Who knows. He did call the ref for a timeout tho.Bro come on...wasting your time with this conspiracy theory tape nonsense. He showed the ref the tape was loose during a break in the action, the ref then called timeout. Which is the rules. Joshua didn't call a timeout. Learn the rules.Comment
