But the reason he won’t get the fight is because he’d bring as many fans as Spike O Sullivan and is waaaayyyyy riskier

His career is DOA and nobody cares to see him fight. He hasn’t been active and hasn’t fought any decent names. No fighter with any traction is going to risk fighting him because he brings nothing to the table

No one in the US knows who Spike is but Andrade is generally recognized as a talented guy who hasn't broken out yet.

I agree Spike / GGg is a absolute sh.it fight disgusting that it’ll be PPV and I would love a GGg/ Andrade fight is buy that sh.it and be hyped as f.uck for it but ....

But if Gennady fought Andrade instead of Spike how many extra buys do you think it gets? How many extra seats get sold ? I would guess zero , No one outside of hard core boxing fans know who he is

Andrade has no buzz or momentum and isn’t even a Mando , rarely fights and is on a kamikaze suicide mission to kill his career.

Add in that Andrade is a hell of a fighter one of the best at MW and probably has a good chance to win

Why the f.uck would Gennadys team pick him with a possibility of Andrade ruining a unification with Saunders or a big $ rematch with Canelo. No one in their position would do that

My theory is that people who know Spike will know enough not to buy it whereas people who know Andrade know it will be a competitive fight and will be more inclined to buy.

Then again, Canelo vs Chavez was a mad success so who the hell knows about anything in this biz anymore... Lol

I like the attitude from Andrade, GGG vs Andrade would be a great fight, and I'm in conflict on who to root for since they are my favorites.
