That may be a tad early, but August or September gives him roughly 4 months and ensures BJS is 100% recovered.

For what it is worth, I think Saunders is serious. I think we will see that fight this year unless Golovkin really can't live without the Alvarez rematch in September. I actually hope he ignores Alvarez.

Aslong as he gets his name in the convo even though you have no intention is just really pathetic.
Alot of fighters putting their name out their knowing it wont be possible.

1. His case was already stated with 2 failed tests

2. Canelo's team, before each fight, has lawyers that go over every state commissions bylaws. They were well aware, before they signed the GGG rematch, of the "strict liability" clause in the NAC bylaws.

3. A sample almost always confirms sample A. That wouldn't look good for Canelo. Besides, sample B will only be tested on request of the boxer himself. Furthermore, NSAC doesn't need a sample B to punish Canelo

Bottom line is this: NSAC states very clearly that "...it is not necessary to establish that the unarmed combatant intentionally, knowingly or negligently used a prohibited substance..." Meaning, it doesn't matter if he did microdosed or if he ate contaminated meat - if it's in his system, it's his responsibility, period. And if it's in his system, he will face suspension. They make it pretty cut and dry via their bylaws.

Then why wait until April 10th or I mean April 18th??? Could of sorted this mess out last month then. And if Canelo doesnt show up to his sentencing they'll add even more time on his suspension

Like watching them both, but I don't think they'll give Canelo any more rope. The judges in the first fight and now this? Bad look for boxing. They'll fight someone on May 5th and hopefully BJS in September. GGG has shown he's the man in the division. The kids aren't talking about Canelo anymore (unless it's this Clen mess). They're all after Golovkin and those belts. And good for GGG for being 35, winning like he does, and consistently testing clean. Good on him. Only thing I don't agree with is them asking GGG to come to England. This is like Wilder trying to make Joshua come to America.
