  • I wonder if GGG will end up suing for loss of earnings...

    • Or it could be truly just a case of eating Mexican meat.

      • IF canelo ate bad meat it was the smart thing to do. He was in a no win situation. If he beats GGG, He cheated. If he loses, he used peds and still lost. Withdraw from the fight, fight in September with clean vada tests. No excuses.

Team Golovkin should try and sue them to the back teeth for this utterly disgusting display. Not too long ago I’m pretty sure Canelo told ggg he was gonna f him up for accusing him of cheating...couple weeks later he withdraws by his own hand.

          There is also legal precedent.

After Guillermo Jones failed his drug test in the lead up to his 2014 rematch with Denis Lebedev, Lebedev sued for lost purse and expenses, and was awarded $2 million dollars in damages.

Deontay Wilder also sued Alexander Povetkin for his failed drug test in the lead up to their fight.

Wilder won $4.5 million in damages, the full amount of his purse.

Canelo will have little chance in winning as the case history has shown, and Golovkin will most likely end up being awarded damages in the full amount of his purse also.

Golden Boy probably has an insurance policy that covers eventualities like this, so unfortunately, it probably wont be Canelo who is out of pocket for the $15m.

If it does come out of Canelos pocket, he will learn a very expensive lesson in professionalism.

Lebedev sued Guillermo Jones, won 2.5m.
          Wilder sued Povetkin, won 4.5m.

Both the full amounts of their purses.

Golvkin will sue Canelo, and more than likely, if these current cases which set precedent are respected, he will be awarded his full purse in damages.

          ... ^^^ something like that!...

Golovkin shouldn't trust Canelo and GBP again... he should make a settlement or sue them... then retire...

Fùck you, you fággot fùck. The kid is dirty, so GGG can't complain? Actually don't answer that. Might be time to add you to the list.

                • Golovkin may take a multi-million dollar hit but he stood up to the money men, I'm impressed.

Any rematch should include random testing, all year long...with penalties...a prerequisite.

Really? Canelo tested positive twice, but it is GGG's fault?
