The only thing obvious is, no one the fans, Golovkin's team, the casinos, promotors, you, and me, really want this guy as a substitute. It should have been Canelo but it is what it is. Golovkin needs to stay busy and the money guys want to salvage something from this fiasco. It isn't unusual that a no name fighter is brought in as a substitute. It's rare that a top level guy would step in with only a few weeks to prepare.

On the real I highly doubt that the fight with Canelo will happen even though he is in Sulaiman's back pocket. With that being said, it will be very difficult for Golovkin and Loeffler to come up with a suitable replacement.

He’ll fight a soft touch, wait for clenelo to get six months suspension and then they will rematch in September. It isn’t GGG’s fault but it’s still not likely to be worth watching.

He has 1 strong win The rest are meh, and he got robbed in that draw. Hope he gets in a few more decent fights before retirement.
I mean that was a decent response...but you didn't really go into detail as to why you don't like his resume. I think he has at least 15 good-great guys on his resume, as I mentioned prior. His list (based on when he fought the guy)

                Great list
                1) Jacobs
                2) Canelo
                3) Murray

                Very good list
                4) Lemeiux
                5) Brook
                6) Geale
                7) Stevens
                8) Ouma
                9) Monroe
                10) Macklin
                11) Prozksa

                Good list
                12) Rubio
                13) Rosado
                14) Adama
                15) Ishida
                16) Wade

If there is no Canelo, there are lots of guys I would pay to see GGG fight: at middleweight, there is Andrade, Dervyechenko, Daniel Jacobs (booked), Jermall Charlo (booked), or Billy Joe Saunders (kind of booked with the injury). At Super Middleweight, there is Gilberto Ramirez. At junior middleweight, Lara and Hurd are fighting each other but if they weren't I'd watch either guy if he wanted to move up in weight. Jermell Charlo is available though, as he doesn't have a scheduled opponent yet.

So that gives me Jermell Charlo, Demetrius Andrade, Sergey Dervyechenko, or Gilberto Ramirez as viable candidates I would plunk down my hard earned cash for if they step in the ring with GGG. But I'll be damned if I'm gonna shell out for the likes of Spike O'Sullivan. HBO? I will happily watch that fight, but not on PPV! Hell, I won't even pay the $4.99 to watch Amir Khan fight a bum on the new ESPN app!

Why don't you actually respond to my analysis? Are you really that ****** that you can't have an intelligent conversation?

I suspect you watch certain contributors on youtube....who always talk about 'lil G' and 'he ain't fought nobody'...and you eat it up because you're really threatened by GGG. So you don't bother to actually research what the guy said.

You're also probably like 35 and really overweight...am I right?? Did I get it right? Lol. Do some research yourself and stop being such a blind hater man. Not a good way to live.
