That's one thing is that Ramirez, Andrade and Saunders are all southpaws! He should face the Ukrainian is at least orthodox.Last edited by SAINTSTEVE; 04-02-2018, 07:44 PM.Comment

I hear ya. I guess for me it's the whole 'who is telling the truth' situation. Because there are ways to say you want the fight, on either side, and then not take the fight ya know. I just don't know about Andrade anymore but I haven't really seen much of him before either. He just seems to talk a lot more than he fights hahaWhat I'll say though about Andrade is that if he had made better career choices in the past, maybe right now, he'd have enough fan/media support where GGG's camp wouldn't be able to simply dismiss him without receiving a certain amount of backlash. At the moment, Andrade without a strong fan/media support reminds me of when Lara was asking for a GGG fight: an "intriguing" opponent barking in the dark!Comment

I would like to point out that the discussion was about how long you need to be in camp. 3-4 weeks is more than enough for any physical/tactical training. And yeah I actually have boxed before.
I agree that finding a sparring partner on 3 weeks notice would be difficult...but this has been going on for a month now already...will be 2 months on May 5th.
And we've gone at least a few weeks since the real buzz is out there that the fight may be cancelled. If you are a pro, you should be able to line up a contingency plan to fight a guy on short notice - especially if it is worth it. And I would definitely say this shot is worth it for all the other middleweights.
Basically the rumors of this being cancelled started 2 weeks ago - that gives a guy six weeks to prepare for it, and at least a couple weeks to line up a good sparring partner.
I agree it is not an ideal situation at all, but that's life. Would be a great opportunity for someone to fight GGG and possibly take his belts/shine away from him. Remember he would be fighting on short notice too, it's fair in a way.
Anyway I really hope they don't put him in there with Spike. Loeffler is good sometimes, but sometimes I wonder how in the hell he got lucky to get GGGComment

You sound like a little biitch saying, "I'm Triple g's biggest groupie..... "I am probably GGG's biggest fan...and I admit I have almost zero interest in watching him fight someone like Spike, so I agree with you on that.
That being said, GGG's resume is actually really strong. He's
never ducked anyone, and fought about 15 good-great guys in his career, basically in that guy's backyard every time. He's dominated every fight, and knocked out all but two of them (when both Jacobs and Canelo basically went in to the fight thinking if they could survive 12 rounds with GGG they would be given the belts).
GGG should be afforded an easy fight based on his resume...but with his age and possibly only have a few more years/fights left, he can't afford to not have big fights right now either.
Hopefully Saunders steps up, I think most people would like that. Only other one I'd really be interested in at 160 would be Charlo, but I don't think Charlo really wants it right now. He should be given a couple fights at 160 to get acclimated to the division imo.
Suck his **** then you fuccing F A G G!Comment

I don't think his resume is strong at all, but I don't blame him for it. He did get ducked by Saunders and Canelo for a while. Also, he did fight some of the best in the division, but it was a seriously weak division then. Still, I blame him for it. But, bring free from blame doesn't make his resume good. He has 1 strong win The rest are meh, and he got robbed in that draw. Hope he gets in a few more decent fights before retirement.I am probably GGG's biggest fan...and I admit I have almost zero interest in watching him fight someone like Spike, so I agree with you on that.

Lol. Loeffler knows that his company just got ****ed out of a **** ton of money, and Golovkin isn't going to fight for free.
Golovkin can't draw Vegas money on his own, and Loeffler isn't about to stand to see his company go belly up over covering a Golovkin payday.
Nice try.Comment
