What is this....amateur hour? Had he come to fight and had he not run away and clinched the whole time Brock would have knocked his ass out cold. He had him in trouble once and had him stunned in the final round too.

Brock/Sultan is a good fight. Sultan has quick hands and actually engages action. He didn't get into many clicnhes inside against Friday and Whitaker so there could be some good action in the bout. Brock didn't look very energized for this fight but how could you when you are fighting a poor mans John Ruiz.

Brock initiated a lot of clinches also...this fight could be summed up in one word...AWFUL

Brock was actually trying to fight his way out of them though....part of the reason he was being warned for using the open gloves to the face was to stop Timur from hugging his ass.

You know, I really thought that Timor was going to win after talking to him. His own corner was screaming at him, I don't know did he get injured during the fight? I don't know what happened, maybe the heat just really got to him.

It could be one of these outside factors...or it could just be that he's really not that spectacular. Neither guy was throwing a lot or moving a ton, so I can't see how the heat would significantly affect one over the other. I guess that kind of stuff affects different people in different ways, but who really knows.

Brock is determined to be a champ, timur just doesn't have the drive. that is what it came down to. nobody looked great, but brock got the job done like he always does. im not overwhelmed by brock, but he does have a true will to win, like when he got off the canvas against mccline. timur is def not the best ibragimov. sultan is better. i wish brock luck though, cause he does find a way to win somehow in all his fights so far
