...He should have forced the action. He landed the jab when he threw it. The problem is that he rarely threw it. Sultan should call out Brock(Klit style) and beat his Dwarf looking ass.

Yeah man, how you going to win a fight by running away from your opponent like your winning the fight every round. I don't know what he was thinking, my guess is the heat really effected him big time. It was what like 100 F? But then again, Brock didn't seem effected by it at all.

Sultan will knockout Austin and then fight Wlad. I don't think Sultan would want to waste his time on a C class fighter like Brock. He is on his way to the top.

Ibragimov looked horrible. Boxer who's number one priority is "Safety First" deserves to lose.

Brock only looked slightly better but he won so Cong****. I still do not see Brock winning against better competition.

Hope Sultan is better than Timur.

Yepp, Sultan is way better than Timur, he presses the action, I saw a couple of his fights. Mike Tyson came to support Timur, I found that weird. I don't know, my guess is the heat got to him. He is from Russia its much colder there, but then again Brock isn't used to 100F either, so I don't know what happened. In the interview he said this has been his best training camp ever.

Ok well good luck to Timur in the future.
The heat is a definate issue- really unfair to the boxers to have them fight in a sauna.

Yes but Brock might have been tired and winded as well, but he wasn't showing it, he kept fighting. Even thought he has an education, degree in Finance, thats what real boxers do...they come to fight and win.

Thats what bothered me so much about Timur, he acted like an opponent that was only trying to survive. He has speed, deceint pop in his punches, but even when he knew he was behind and losing, he never tried to commit. If your strategy incorporates as much holding as he did, youve got to throw at some point. I had never seen him fight before, and really hope I never do again.

I respect people who don't have the skill, but try to win, Timur didn't tonight, and turned a fight I was excited about into an absolute bore-fest.

Wow, Timur Ibragimov is awful. I knew he wasn't as highly regarded as Sultan, but the guy is flat out awful (well at least from this showing). Landing only 59 punches??? What is this....amateur hour? Had he come to fight and had he not run away and clinched the whole time Brock would have knocked his ass out cold. He had him in trouble once and had him stunned in the final round too.

Brock/Sultan is a good fight. Sultan has quick hands and actually engages action. He didn't get into many clicnhes inside against Friday and Whitaker so there could be some good action in the bout. Brock didn't look very energized for this fight but how could you when you are fighting a poor mans John Ruiz.
