Spike is the same quality opponent as g's first 36 opponents. This shouldn't surprise anyone. g fought Wade and Brook for 2016. He was forced into Jacobs, and wanted the payday from Canelo before Charlo is mandated. g does not want the rematch with Canelo, he does not want a rematch with Jacobs, he most certainly does not want anything to do with Charlo, he won't even fight Andrade, or Derevychenko. Oh, he doesn't even want to risk an L by trying to unify with BSJ. Most scared fighter I can recall in modern history.

I would say that Spike is still better than that bum Charlo is facing next. Spike just beat a young upcoming undefeated fighter in Antoine Douglas. Hugo Centeno has beaten nobody, he got knocked the f out by Sulecki, who is nothing special either. HBO probably decides who they put in Canelos spot.

Lmfao If that is true it goes to show how shiet boxing can be If UFC can get Max Holloway in at less than weeks notice, but they can't get someone like Andrade, Deryvachenko, or fck... even someone like Murata or Jacobs just make them call of their fight I think an actual title match means more than a nothing fight.

I like both G and Jacobs but Jacobs stalled the negotiatons not Golovkin.
