He'd rather fight Breazeale for $1 mil, instead of Whyte for $4 mil.
      Plus a guaranteed AJ shot.
When and where was Wilder offered a guaranteed AJ fight for fighting Whyte? Whyte may soon have to face Pulev in an IBF eliminator, remember Whyte is highly ranked in a few sanctioning body's rankings.

Pulev is not ranked in the WBC and I know he isn't looking to lose his ranking in the IBF messing around with Wilder and Wilder gains nothing fighting him.

I really hope he gets AJ next. Don't care to see this fight at all.

He is busier, clearly significantly better than when he was when he fought AJ, had stronger opposition than Breazele. But most important point is - he brings to Wilder 3-4 times more money than Breazele. One would think its a non-brainer, but it is apparently. Which is especially weird given how disparaging Wilder was to Whyte. If it is such an easy job for so much money, why not do it and be done with it? Career high earnings stay busy fight. But still no, he would rather fight Breazele. Brezele was literally a punching bag for AJ.

I can't agree with you that nobody gives credit to Wilder. Its just other than Ortiz (with whom he struggled) he fought nobody of note. At least for me Wilder is someone I really didn't know very well (before Ortiz) because nobody has ever tested him. People do give him credit for Ortiz, but he will waste this credit pretty damn quickly if he gets off the gas pedal and resumes fighting Breazeles of the division. If not Whyte, why not offer a fight to Povetkin? At least Big Baby? Opposition level needs to go up, not down. And with Breazele its like...dude, WTF are you doing with your career?

P.S. If he hadn't fought Ortiz, I'd literally stop paying attention to Wilder at this stage. He'd be nothing but a glorified version of Charles Martin who got lucky getting the belt. Luckily he proved he's got massive determination to win and can turn on his windmill that can blow away anyone. He's got the momentum now and it would be foolish to lose it. But that's the way he is heading to with Breazele.
Remember Povetkin had a fight lined up with Wilder but Povetkin gets popped for PED's so Wilder should offer him another shot? With OSDT that's a fight I actually don't mind seeing. It's sad that Wilder, for a second time, would have to fight someone that has multiple failed PED tests.

He gave another chance to Ortiz, didn't he? Povetkin was clean this fight and I doubt we will see Povetkin getting caught for PEDs any time soon. It will restrict him to fighting in Russia and he can forget about ever having a shot even at European title. I think he should give him a chance, it will make him more money than Breazele and will add a really good name to the resume, if he wins.

There's no reason for Wilder to fight Whyte. Or Breazeale. He wants Joshua next. He has the other version of the title and no mandatory obligations preventing him from a unification.

Joshua is in the same position, there's no reason to fight Miller or anyone other than Wilder next. Joshua says he wants Wilder so why doesn't Fast Eddie make the fight that the guy he works for says he wants?

Whyte is a better fight for Wilder than Brezeale is. People would look forward to that match-up more. Plus, it has more money for Wilder.

Wilder should take the fight to get himself out there for the British public. If he doesn't, then he's a p*ssy. But I fully expect Wilder to go for the fights he's used to... Fights no one is interested in.
Wilder doesn't need to "get himself out there for the British public". The fight with Joshua is there to be made without him, or Joshua, fighting anyone next; it is a full unification fight, that's enough.
