I wanna see GGG **** Chavez JR up...better fight than against that prospect

The obvious problems:
1) If they drug tested Jr. right now, chances of tripping for marijuana ? (or any other drug?)
2) 5 weeks to drop how much weight ?
- He had months to get to 164 and was immobile. 5 weeks to get to 168, what shape could he hope to be in ?
3) what to do when he doesn't make weight ?
4) if it takes months to make contracts normally, they presumably need to make this one in days ?
- purse splits
- sanctioning body rulings ? eg would any of Golovkin's 160lb belts go vacant if he lost, like Rigo's situation when he went up ?
- forfeits if (when) Jr. misses weight ?
Sounds really ambitious.Comment

you left out the most obvious problem which is that he's a lazy **** fighter who by no means deserves to fight the mw champion of the world. He's not even deserving of an undercard spot on a telefutura fight card. The obvious problems:

What crossed my mind too was Jr.'s motivation for the fight. I can't imagine any dream of a comeback being there, so would it just be a cash grab to line the coffers with a final payday ?Comment

That would be great. Even if GGG came in at 160 you'd still get to see Jr get knocked out at 168 (let's be honest, 180). Their styles match up.There is no shortage of fighters lining up to fight IBF, IBO, WBC, WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs) on May 5th. At the moment, Golovkin is scheduled to defend his belts against Canelo Alvarez in a rematch on the Cinco De Mayo date, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Chavez jr entire career seems to have been a cash grab. He was fortunate enough to have the most famous last name in Mexican boxing and that was used to his advantage. I've only been impressed by him once and that was vs Andy Lee, but I truly think there was something illegal going on there. Aside from 30 seconds, he shat the bed in his biggest fight vs martinez, quit vs fonfara and was basically a no show vs canelo. There's nothing to be ashamed about in losing a boxing match, but when it's obvious that you really don't care about the sport or to train properly, then you don't deserve any more opportunities.Comment

If Chavez does by some miracle get this fight I hope for his sake that his PED's are out of his system! Checkout this video from right before Christmas!
