I disagree with many of your points. First, I wouldn't say Horn "manhandled" Pacquiao. That fight was pretty even IMO. Secondly, you say no amount of skill can beat a bigger man in some instances. I believe size doesn't win fights so if the smaller guy is skilled enough, he can negate size. Just my opinion.

It's hard for me to take someone serious when they say he runs. He's comfortable at range and he knows how to utilize it, his skill dictates how he wants to fight. Why would a guy with the skills to outbox almost anyone take unnecessary risks just to please a few critics?

I'm excited for this one and I think hurd is a bit overrated but he still beats anyone outside lara and charlo. This could be like the williams fight but hopefully this time he doesn't get robbed.

Right! I'm not a boxer myself but I have been following it since I was about 5 or 6 and I've learned there is something you can do to make a guy quit "running". Actually a couple things.

You can CUT THE RING OFF, and go to the body to slow him down. If you headhunt and miss all night, it's hard for me to sympathize.

Hurd chases Lara around the ring(meanwhile walking into straight left hands) for 12 rounds. Lara outclasses this weight bully and continues on his thrown as the king of 154.

Doe, that fight was 7 years ago, Lara was 28 and fought a Williams that was about to retire.

Lara is now 34 and fighting a young, big, hungry lion. All he could do in this fight is run for his life. That's what I'm predicting.

Hurd does a lot of things that can be exposed by a skilled boxer. His footwork is absolutely atrocious.. Squares up, crosses his feet, has no idea how to use range. His only defense is his face or his gaurd.. No head or body movement.

Hurd bullies guys because he has a solid chin and he's bigger then everyone, lara will show his class and dominate.
