    - I don't think Joshua uses the jab better, I think Wilder has a better jab and uses it intelligently
    - both make plenty of mistakes. No perfect fighters in this division.
    - Wilder has beaten Ortiz and a few top 20 heavyweights

Joshua uses the jab more consistently. Where was this jab in the Ortiz and Washington fight. Joshua showed in the Wlad, Parker, and Takkam fight that he has the better-more consistent jab.

Parker is a checkers player trying to play chess, Ortiz is a chess player.

Where was Parker's head movement vs Ruiz, Takam and Fury? You're talking about him like he's this great defensive fighter, he's not, never has been just like he's never been a chess player.

Ortiz keeps a high guard and makes you pay with HARD fast counters and combos, you throw you pay, that's his defense. AJ can be hit with counters and especially the LEFT which Whyte was landing at will and rocked him with in their fight, same punch Wlad was hurting him with too.

A Southpaw like Ortiz is a NIGHTMARE for Joshua. Ortiz is built to beat him. Wilder also throws a mean left hook that if you don't neutralize like Ortiz, he will hurt you with.

Here is the Whyte fight, his left was putting in work on AJ's chin:
