Since when has anything Hearn said carried any weight whatsoever ?

He also said just the other day that if Wilder didn't take the Whyte fight, he would have to wait until oct/nov/dec for AJ anyway. Another statement that carries zero sincerity.

Hearn knows Wilder poses the biggest risk to the AJ gravy train going off the rails, and will delay it as long as he can. That should hopefully be obvious. Anything Hearn says is irrelevant, he'll fight Wilder only when he has to, and say whatever in the interim.

Right now he has enough leeway to make alternative fights, such as Miller in the US, Povetkin etc. He can get away with AJ going over for a voluntary for Miller maybe, then argue Povetkin is a mandatory 'so can't be avoided' (where of course it happens all the time if a mandatory is inconvenient - this one just happens to be convenient).

Only thing I saw at the weekend was Whyte/Joshua II be less likely, but you never know.

Basicially saying can we rob the fans one more time, I am a AJ fan and i believe a match up with Wilder is 50-50 (in terms of who can get KO'd; both have great power with average chins), I think AJ genuinely wants to fight Wilder but HEARN is scared to let him, as it is very risky.
