The Povetkin Price fight was a model for how those people touting Parker's speed and power thought the AJ Parker fight would go. The difference is that AJ outboxed Parker and didn't let him do a Povetkin. It's that simple. It's not that Parker is bad, it's that he was made to look bad because he couldn't find a way to get effective.

Would Miller really want AJ in New York. I know that's his hometown but he'd lose a fair amount of money

Originally posted by Butch.McRae View PostI think there is more to this as some have caught wind to. Hearn seems keen on being a player in the US. When you think about his father's legacy, it's not ridiculous to think that he sees it as some type of legacy building move. Maybe he really thinks he can get Wilder in the Matchroom web.

And if Fury is back in the running after that, expect Fury to leapfrog over Wilder as 'the peoples choice' ('the people' being that lot in the stadium last night) - ie the one they want to pay for.

I heard him say once he is afraid to lose. Is that why the UK fans don't want him to fight Wilder? Are they afraid Wilder will knock AJ out? Thank you in advance for your response.

Can't see anything else happening.
