The Povetkin Price fight was a model for how those people touting Parker's speed and power thought the AJ Parker fight would go. The difference is that AJ outboxed Parker and didn't let him do a Povetkin. It's that simple. It's not that Parker is bad, it's that he was made to look bad because he couldn't find a way to get effective.

Would Miller really want AJ in New York. I know that's his hometown but he'd lose a fair amount of money

I think there is more to this as some have caught wind to. Hearn seems keen on being a player in the US. When you think about his father's legacy, it's not ridiculous to think that he sees it as some type of legacy building move. Maybe he really thinks he can get Wilder in the Matchroom web.

What a joke not this year.... how about we face a guy that had been beat next, or someone with like 20 total fights great idea.

He did get Jacobs and Miller, so who knows! He has Wilder boxed in for 2018! FACTS! I think Usyk and Gassiev will be welcome additions to the division! Kownacki is the sleeper, and the return of Fury is the cherry on top!

Miller would have an ****** if Hearn announced Joshua vs. Miller at the Barclay's Center!

And if Fury is back in the running after that, expect Fury to leapfrog over Wilder as 'the peoples choice' ('the people' being that lot in the stadium last night) - ie the one they want to pay for.
I see them fighting Miller and Povetkin before Wilder aswell.

Is that why the UK fans don't want him to fight Wilder? Are they afraid Wilder will knock AJ out? Thank you in advance for your response.
Matchroom (Hearn) is the promoter for 3 (Joshua, Whyte, and Miller) out of the Top 4 (adding Wilder) Heavyweight fighters in the world! He can have multiple fights (90,000 tickets a pop) for Joshua without Wilder, so he is in no rush to make Wilder vs. Joshua. Wilder's only path without Matchroom is Kownacki or Breazeale, and neither of them make big money for Wilder.

That's why Miller so likely (assuming he gets by Duhaupas, which he should do, but you never know).

Hearn gets a double-dip out of Joshua/Miller while also expanding Joshua's image in the US (assuming Joshua beats Miller, which he should do, but.....).

                      Can't see anything else happening.
