Like I've always said, I'm looking forward to Joshua fighting Povetkin next sometime in August to get his WBA-WBO mandatory out of the way. This Wilder thing is going to drag on for a while and a potential AJ/Wilder fight won't happen till December at the earliest. I just hope Wilder fights somebody halfway decent in the meantime like Whyte, Brezeale, Miller or hell even Takam. Not holding much hope though he'll probably end up fighting Kownacki or have a trilogy with Stiverne in his quest to get a body on his record.

Initially, Povetkin was said that Joshua will be next.
But here again from "there" -> lies, dishonesty and neo-colonialist mentally....
They howl like a wolf about Russia but keep mute when some child are being ****d (Rotherham child sexual exploitation and Peterborough sex abuse case.)

Can't see Povetkin risking it but maybe he just doesn't rate Whyte and the payday is a good one. From Whyte's perspective it doesn't get him any closer to a title shot. Even if he has the WBO mandatory position, Hearn could make AJ-Whyte II anytime with or without that and until now he's been pursuing the WBC route. But I guess it's the best name opponent Whyte can face with the bonus that he's past prime and Hearn will likely get full drug testing for this fight in a way he didn't for the Price one. Still would lean towards it not happening though.
I do like this as a fight though. Another reason to like the idea of some kind of 2 fight deal for AJ-Wilder is that the guys ranked 3-10 could have some good competitive fights vs each other in the meantime and hopefully one contender in particular stands out because right now AJ/Wilder against any of them would feel a bit meh.

Seems like he just would wanna sit on his mandatory shot. Joshua is too much money to risk a fight inbetween when you are 38 years old. Povetkin is ****** if he fights Whyte when he's got a Joshua fight locked in.
F#cking Hearn with this Whyte bs all the time. Call up Ortiz. Ortiz vs Whyte is an interesting fight. Hell call up Parker. Idk about June, but you maybe able to line up one of those guys a month or two after June.
Povetkin is represented by Andriy Ryabinsky, AJ vs Povetkin goes to purses and Hearn loses, fight goes to Russia or AJ is stripped.

Hearn's building up Whyte nicely, hes a headliner of his own cards now. Haha but you Americans have some kind of deep hatred for him. At least he'll keep quiet about Whyte/Wilder for 5 minutes.
