Orchestrated and stage managed from start to finish, might as well have been WWE. Hearn is doing everything in his power to turn Joshua into a mega-star despite his glaring lack of elite talent - apparently looks and abs is all it takes these days. Risk was managed as well as it could be within the fight itself by the absurd reffing denying Parker what few opportunities he could generate on the inside and making sure Joshua could catch a breather whenever he looked like he might be in momentary difficulties.
Allowing Wilder into the ring would have introduced an element of chance into the proceedings which I think Slick Eddie didn't want at all. Doesn't matter which of the fighters you prefer in the ring, but there's no question (IMO at least) that Wilder has the more colourful and charismatic persona, and may well have left Joshua looking tongue tied and foolish. That was never gonna be allowed to happen.
