Ward could potentially outbox Joshua and it'd be a distaster. That would hang over his career forever, because although Ward is a great fighter he's not a HW.
Lewis got KO'ed by Rahman and McCall, but he's still considered a top 5 or 10 heavyweight in part because of the "it's heavyweight boxing and it happens/one punch can change everything" defence. It would have been much more difficult to justify if he got badly outboxed by Roy Jones or let's say Hopkins coming up from heavyweight.
Hearn will match Joshua against an American in America next, probably Big Baby Miller or maybe Jennings. Introduce him to an American audience in a fight where he should look good.

Wilder hasn’t been near the number 2 or 3 fighter in the division fool. He’s barely sc****d the top 10.
Now YOU GIVE ME THIS: Ortiz is A FAR MORE DANGEROUS opponent than Joepsh Parker.
These rankings, and alphabet soup titles mean nothing.
Antohny Joshua would NEVER get in there with Luis Ortiz. NEVER. Hearn would not allow it.
If he looked this badly against Parker, just imagine what Ortiz would do to him! I honestly think Ortiz stops him!
If Joesph Parker was able to neutralize him that badly, Ortiz's style would have him running for DEAR LIFE.
No way Hearn and co. allow Joshua anyone NEAR a fighter with a pulse.
If Deontay Wilder wants to fight AJ, he's going to have to beat him, the bias judges, crooked refs, and 80,000 drunken limey re.tards in the crowd.
But Deontay just might be able to pull it off.

I'm not a Joshua fan, but I have doubts over whether Wilder would have beaten Parker any better than Joshua did. Somebody like Parker with quick hands, decent movement and a granite chin could cause Deontay problems because outside of his great power, Deontay has very rudimentary boxing ability.

He can't box.

This fight was straight up boring. Parker won 4/5 rounds by out-boxing Joshua and landing hard bodyshots, but did he really think the judges were going to give him a decision? Wasn't surprised by the scorecards considering how much money Joshua generates. IMO, if the athleticism, herky-jerky movement, and jab from the smaller Parker made Joshua look this bad, I think Wilder beats him. For all his flaws, Wilder's jab and straight right can get to Joshua right through the guard, especially if Deontay's movement can keep him as gunshy as Parker did.

You don't win rounds by constantly backing off and not throwing punches through fear of being countered (which happened and almost got Wilder knocked the **** out)
I know boxing fine. You, on the other hand...
