2 years since when Haskins was the champion he is mandatory.two years? two years ago burnett was still british level with the lonsdale belt with the wbc international trinket.
Rodriguez was boxing at a race track in florida... where the **** do you get two years from ?
how the **** has he ducked a guy ranked 3 in the IBF.. when he beat their champion and immediately unified?
Your guy isnt even a true mandatory for ****s sake.. their isnt a number 1 or 2 and he failed to make purse bids with the other challenger.
Get a grip you pussComment

No./..just no.
You dont understand IBF rules so i suggest you read them.
The IBF is strictest in enforcing mandatories. You must as champion defend your belt against your IBF mandatory or be stripped. Stuart hall was the mandatory in september of '16.. so no rodriguez has not been mandatory for two years.
He has also not boxed a single eliminator as #3 seed to gain elevation to #1 or #2 seed. The IBf keep 1 and 2 free so that higher seeds fight eliminators to gain those places. he has fought in non ibf sanctioned fights and one for the WBC latino bantamweight title.
Ryan burnett was sanctioned by the IBF as haskins did not have a mandatory because the 1 and 2 spots still had not been filled, because rodriguez had not fought against the #4 ranked fighter which was paul butler.
Once burnett won, he was granted a unification exemption and fought someone alot better than rodriguez!!!
the IBF stated that rodriguez and butler were to fight an eliminator, whulst burnett dealt with his WBA mandatory which rodriguez immediately called to purse bids, a deal could not be struck so the IBF mandated rodriguez as the next challenger AFTER burnett had already signed to defend against parejo so it could not be honored. This is why burnett vacated because the IBF are so strict they would have stripped him.
If by some instance he were to just be given the ibf belt now, he would be nothing but a paper champion.
HE HAS NOT BEEN MANDATORY FOR 2 YEARS, AND HE IS NOT "MANDATORY NOW" HE IS THE HIGHEST RANKED FIGHTER WHO REFUSED TO FIGHT PAUL BUTLER.
If you think he is that good, you can look forward to seeing him in the WBSS where he will get his head knocked offComment

OK Ok i exaggerated a lil bit, anyways the point is Burnett want no part of Rodriguez FACTS. So who is the better boxer that Burnett fought?? NONE, Rodriguez is the best in that division. BTW Butler dont wanna fight him neither not even in his house backyard.No./..just no.

How? he signed his WBA mandatory and stated he would face the winer of rodriguez vs butler before the IBF eliminator was called.. how is he ducking? he followed rules.
He vacated because of how stricty the IBF are and they would have just stripped him once rodriguez v butler wasnt made. Do you not know how the IBF work?
And rodriguez is not the best in the division at all.. he's just your countryman lol.
Tete is better...
Inoue is better and probably the best in the division.
Luis nery is better
Burnett in my opinion, is better
Narvaez only lost to nonito and inoue, hes better...
Yamanaka is better...
I get you support peurto rican fighters.. but dont talk rubbishComment

Wasn't Burnett already signed up to fight Parejo, while Rodriguez was supposed to fight an eliminator against Butler or Haskins to get the shot at Burnett?Previously, Burnett was the WBA and IBF world champion, but he vacated the IBF because he decided to face WBA ranked Parejo,
Anyway, if they do the WBSS at this weight, Burnett should enter as should Rodriguez if he beats Butler. He just better hope Tete or Inoue don't pick him as their opponent before he gets a chance to face Burnett.Comment
