  • First post and my take,

Joshua fought a really clever fight. He could only ever lose this in the final rounds as he has been blowing late on in his last two fights and Parker goes the distance. Joshua I feel stayed in second gear to make sure he didn't blow and in fact Parker seemed the more tired in the end.

I gave Parker two clear rounds but Joshua easily won it

      paid off judges.

      still couldn't hurt Parker.

the fix was in before round one.

no way in fckn hell AJ won 10-11 rounds. no way.

move over Adalaide Byrd, you got company.

Eddie Hearn paid those fckers off well.

Wilder is trash. He was easily getting outboxed by Ortiz before he knocked the old man down in the fifth. Then again up until when he won by KO. He obviously has power, but he's not a good boxer at all. AJ is slightly better, although they both benefit hugely from fighting in a very average era.
Simply put, it was a very lack luster performance. Starting with Wilder is trash shows that u about to go 100% biased with ur comment. AJ is a wayyyy better boxer than Wider, I'd never deny that but Miadana proved that superior boxing skills don't mean u win 100%

You could find about 5 rounds for Parker.

Wilder runs in hands down, constantly on the verge of being chinned but his punch is a fight finisher.
Going off the buzz of each guy's last fight, Wilder was a winner off the back of Joshua's fight, so in excitement terms Wilder should take it.
I stick with my original thoughts of two flawed guys who can punch is 50/50, but off the back of Wilder stopping Ortiz he's got to take an extra point or two giving him a tenuous edge.
I'd hate to be on the wrong end of an argument with u! U know ur stuff

No doubt. He can like them in a more manly fashion next time he’s asked.

              • Ref was the busiest guy in the fight. He was relentless.

If the Wilder who nearly come unstuck against an old guy with high blood pressure fought either undefeated world champion who isn't old an sick he'd get stopped before halfway. That's why he's neber faced anyone like that. Wilder struggled with Molina ffs, that guy who couldn't lay one hand on AJ. As for he's chin, ask Sconiers who the only name heavyweight he ever knocked down was.

                  • The way Parker fought--it was tough for Joshua to look good against him. Like Paulie said the entire fight, "this isn't 2 guys trying to knock each other out, this is about technique". Ironically, Parker fought similar to how Fury fought against him. He seemed a little more focused on all of the awkward head movements and such instead of fighting his normal fight. Joshua showed he's an amazing boxer. It also looked like Parker slowed down the final 3 rounds while AJ kept good stamina. Was impressed with his turnaround. I thought you could have it 116-112/8-4 Joshua. But some of the rounds were slow and close, so the wider margins didn't surprise me. You can tell by the tone in the ring afterwards the Wilder fight isn't next. When pressed about it, AJ seemed angry. Eddie Hearn the same. I think they want another fight or two for him to develop a bit more. I also think Hearn feels White can beat Wilder, and he's trying to stage that big unification fight without him lol.
