    is that you bellew?

jokes aside is was extremely distasteful , bipolar alter ago or not.

I can imagine his next interview going like

" so deontay you stated you wanted a body on your record, can you elaborate for us?"

"SHIEEEETTT THAT WASNT ME.. IT WAS PATRICIA"

How would Wilder like to be taken away from the daughter he started boxing to support?

Disgraceful to say you want to kill someone. No other way to put it.

add to the fact that...wilder was on a "hip hop" radio station was he not? the term "catch a body" is probably referenced several times a day....or is implied through other words....he was just playing to the culture he was sitting in front of...the audience

No, it's you and others who need to grow up. People say I'm childish, yet you've got grown men on here saying it's acceptable for wilder to say he wants to kill someone in the ring and get a dead body on his record. We've had some recent tragedies in the ring too, but because it's a fighter people like they brush the comment under the carpet. I bet the families of dead fighters really appreciate the heavyweight champ of the world saying things like that.

A lot of dumb things are said by fighters and their fans defend it, happens everyday on this site. Your comment was extremely dumb though. I mean really "if a white fighter would have said it he would be catching more flack"? That just screams idiotic juvenile thinking. Again, grow up man. That goes for you and other fools on here saying the same for fighters of other races. Smh

I stand by what I said 100 percent. Look.at the posters defending the comments. You've got to be seriously naive if you think them same posters would be saying 'oh he just playing' if lomachenko or golovkin said it. They are defending wilder cause it fits an agenda for them to defend him, that's the bottom line. They are appalling comments that people are brushing off, way past the usual hyperbole that fighters come out with and I'm disgusted that people on here are fine with it being said.

It’s a ***ed up thing to say no matter what. You don’t kill someone and then move on with your life.

Boxing is a sport. A fatality in boxing is not acceptable.

Idk why people are acting shocked by this.

Tyson has said this before. I'm sure plenty of others have to.

Mike Tyson has claimed he was disappointed that he did not kill anyone in the ring during his boxing career.

The former world heavyweight champion admitted to jealously when he heard another boxer had killed an opponent.
                    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/ot...-the-ring.html

And this was retired Tyson talking. I believe he told Razor Ruddock directly "it don't count if he's not dead" or something like that. And I'm sure there are more examples.

as i mentioned...hes on a rap radio station....many of the songs on that station that are played reference killing someone whether it be literally or metaphorically.....its just part of the slang and culture......that needs to be taken into consideration

its not like wilder was on fox news or espn saying "i want to catch a body"
