Wilder's next opponent could be Adam Kownacki...

Kownacki is the WBC #9 & Wilder said yesterday there is a strong possibility he makes a voluntary against him unless he gets the winner of Parker/Joshua. Whyte is the WBC #1 but has not been name the mandatory yet. Wilder also has awhile before he needs to make the mandatory defence. Breazeale said he is the mando but that has not been conformed by the WBC. Kownacki could draw a nice Polish crowd against Wilder in the Prudential Centre. Not the fight I expect but could be full of fireworks. Kownacki comes forward like Arreola so it could be interesting while it lasted...

Kownacki seems to have jumped up the standings lately. Wilder obviously plans on staying in the USA if AJ won't fight him, and I don't blame him.

If Joshua won't fight him then he has to face somebody. An opponent in the WBC's top 10 seems as good as any.

He isn't playing Hearn's games anymore. Hearn said fight Whyte first before Joshua so he counted with Whyte can get him if he beats Ortiz... hahaha

'Meh' fight, but can't blame Wilder any longer, Hearn made it clear that HE is the one stopping the AJ / Wilder fight from happening.

"Wilder-AJ will happen, but first Wilder has to fight ten of my other fighters and make me lots of money before I give him a crack"

              Cownappy will have to do

I see your from Edmonton. Do u have any idea if TSN is going to show AJ vs Parker fight? I checked all 4 TSN's and all I could find was boxing at like 10:00 pm on Saturday night in Puerto Rico. I am hoping it's a mistake and it's actually the Showtime fight. Peace.

Kownacki isn't a terrible opponent. It seems like he may even be at the Breazeale sort of level.

Not bad but obviously all the solid opponents are lining for the AJ lottery ticket so most won't fight Wilder due to limited payout and huge risk of getting put on the highlight reel!

AJ will get Povetkin, Miller, Whyte 2, etc. In that order
