I wish he hadn't said that.
1. I'm a hundred percent certain that he didn't mean it.
2. He gave all the sissies and b****** something to cry about.
No one knows who Wilder is in the UK but UK boxing fans seem to flood threads with Wilder's name in it. Go figure.Comment

It's a brutally violent sport and it's difficult to succeed in boxing without a vicious mindset in the ring but I still wish Deontay hadn't said it. I wonder how much is posturing and trying to create a mystique and how much is reality.

You guys can watch the near full hour long video of this interview on youtube. I believe Wilder said this to shake his opponents who listened to it. He doesn't truly mean it. It was part of promoting himself or the "Bronze Bomber" as he kept stating it. It was honestly a way to put additional fear in his opponents acting like he disregards their health completely when they fight him.
Rewatching the Ortiz fight, I can't imagine AJ fighting him anytime soon. Not until a few more years are on Wilder's ticker.Comment
