Canelo took a massive poo all over 2018.

There’s been some decentsn fights so far for the first 3 months and a couple and More in the next couple months
Decent 1st half if you ask me so far there’s been or going to be ( probably missed a few )
WBSS has been fire and the CW final should be insane
Rungsai/Estrada
Wilder /Ortiz
Spence / Lamont
Quigg / Valdez
Frampton/ Nonito
AJ/Parker
Lara/ Hurd
LSC/ Mares
Prograis /Indongo
Broner /Vargas
Stevenson /Jack
Linares/Loma
Davis / Cuellar
Crawford/ Horn
Selby / Warrington
Ramirez/ Iman
All quality fights with top 10 guys fighting each other
And a bunch of mid range fights like
Thurman’s return
Garcia / Rios
Dirrell / Uzcagni
That’s around 16 good fights in the first 24 weeks of the year that’s not bad especially when you consider January is usually a dead month for the sportComment

I had no idea what to expect and when they came out swinging like that I was floored, haha. The announcers mentioned they’d sparred together numerous times so i don’t think they felt the need to feel each other out.
I got the vibe that Cardle felt his only shot at winning was securing an early KO so he gave it everything he got early on, but didn’t have the power to pull it off (even though he landed some great punches).Comment

2018 is on the way to being better. Canelo cheating has definitely hurt the sport and it's biggest fight but Loma-Linares, Usyk-Gassiev and Inoue's move to 118 definitely soften the blow that the ****head created. Another plus is no Mayweather fight, decreased interest in Pacquaio but the quality of the board is suffering badly from Joshua-Wilder.
All said I think 2018 had a better first quarter than any of 2017 and I think the year is shaping up better.Comment

And now Thurman's get back fight is even off the table because of a hand injury.
I also forgot to mention Crawford-Horn being delayed to June.
