Yer have the tune-up but dont disrespect the guy you want to fight by saying virtually you want an easy fight.
If i was his opponent that he cherry picked i would give everything i had into this one fight for Keith being so big headed.

From what I've gathered from Keith..he at one point loved boxer, got paid..and is now just using it as an out. Nothing wrong with that but it's so obvious his heart isn't in the sport anymore. Most of his fans and Spence fans overlap so he's basically losing fans and hardly any one likes him now.

Originally posted by Kevin BarryThere were chips of bone floating in both joints, stress in the sockets and severe calcification of the bones in those areas.
Ok, the video matches up with the floating bone as well as calcification (acute tennis elbow?). Looks like they scope in and take out debris. For a doctor to do both elbows at the same time I find rather odd though. Most doctors won't do this because you need an arm to wipe your áss know what I mean? NZ isn't known for their surgeons that's for sure.
Thurman had similar surgery.
Originally posted by Keith ThurmanI had loose bodies in the elbow, similar to what baseball pitchers have. They had to go in and take out the loose bodies and calcium deposits.
One thing for sure, the doctor doesn't want me to rush back into action. You can't jump back into the race too soon. It might start to feel good after a month or two, but you don't want to rush it.
My right elbow's job is to launch punches like a missile, like I'm Mike Tyson at 147 pounds. It might feel good, but it might not be able to sustain that. It might cause inflammation to develop, and then you have to wait to let it calm down and feel better. I figure a four-month recovery will be quick. The doctor recommended six months of no action before training. I won't rush it.
This is how it works, get surgery by a top establishment and most surgeries the doc will say 6-8 weeks recovery. That means you'll be at 50%. 16 weeks is usually pain free. Different things can happen during surgery, recovery, physical therapy, genetics, etc that can extend those times.
He was probably good at 16-17 weeks and just took some extra time off.

He has been inactive for a very long time.
He needs to step up now and start being more active like fight more than once per year maybe.
