Seven guys. Who out of those 7 fighters, who are the same size and age as Bud, as fought weaker opposition? Who? Or are you deliberately saying, that yes, at least seven others have fought better opponents, but Bud deserves p4p and should not be pressured to fight a top 5 welterweight. I get it, he is only 160 pounds, why would we hold him to the same standards as Cherry Garcia? Am I right? Garcia literally cleared out 140. Then he fought Thurman at welterweight. And he is still called Cherry Garcia.

From now on it is Cherry Bud. Who is the mighty Cherry Bud gonna fight after Horn? Another bottom top 10 guy? Rematch with Indongo? Indongo is tall, so that must mean something. Cherry Bud is on a war path! First he is taking out the Aussie gym teachers, and next he is coming for U.S. gym teachers!

2 weight classes. 2 world titles. 2 lineal titles. 1 undisputed title.

So even though he took those titles from Dulorme, Postol, and Indongo, that is better than beating DSG and Porter? Both are the same size.

Baldomir had a lineal, undisputed title too. So, for fighting Horn, for a paper title, that is cool, because it's for a title?

Why did everyone crap on Mikey for fighting the only champ and the #1 jww in the world in a third different division? Bud is moving up to fight about the 7th or 8th best ww and no one says anything. Yet, about 100 posters criticized Mikey for fighting a guy naturally much bigger who was also the #1 guy in the division.

Why do titles and divisions not matter for guys like DSG and Mikey, but it is a perfect excuse from Bud? Just saying, if to this day, DSG's best wins were Postol and Diaz, no one would take him as serious. Yet, Bud does it and is a p4p fighter? Doesn't DSG get more credit for clearing out a stacked 140 division than Bud does for Dulorme, Postol, and Indongo? Is Morales twice, Khan, Judah, Matthysse, Peterson not much more impressive? Cherry Garcia has fought the much better opposition. There is no doubt about that. And he still gets crapped on, while Bud fights guys like Lundy and Horn and gets credit for it. It is just a clear double standard. Just wondering why.

Not that Bud ain't great, but if a pbc fighter had that record, he would be a paper champ who refused to move up to 140 until DSG, Peterson, Khan, Matthysse, Maidana were all at ww, fought some of the weakest title holders in history, and who had to bully guys much smaller than him. And one who also has not faced anyone with real power since a lw rocked him years ago. I just want to see the best fight the best.

Right now, a top p4p fighter is fighting about the 8th best guy in his division. lmao. Is that a joke or something?

He says he picks who he fights, and yet no Mikey, Prograis, DSG, Peterson, Spence, Thurman, no one! Spence, Thurman, Brook, Khan, DSG, Porter, Brook, Broner are all fighting each other, fighting the best and Bud is fighting Indongo and a gym teacher. Paper titles mean less to me than quality wins. And it does to everyone else too, when talking about Mikey and not Bud.

Broner: Four divisions. Four world titles.

Also, about 15 pounds smaller than Bud, but who has fought Maidana, Porter, and Mikey. How has AB fought three opponents who are at least twice as good as anyone Bud has ever fought? AB might not be a world beater, but at least he will fight the best.

30 years old and Postol is his biggest fight. No wonder no one outside of Omaha knows his name.

PBC has the Welterweight division on lock. If T-Bud doesn't make the switch by 2019 then he'll get a ton of flak believe me.

For me, Crawford passes the eyeball test. I watch him and I know I am looking at a special fighter despite his marginal competition.

I like Bud and definitely think he's one of the best fighters right now. I'd love to see him face Spence.

At the same time, the comp has been good, but I definitely wouldn't call it great. Indongo, as evidenced in his last fight, wasn't that good. He caught Troyanovsky in the first which can happen to most fighters, but still a good win. Then he beat Burns and well, who hasn't? Bud drills him in three and Prograis demolishes him in two. Not exactly a world beater and that was two of the belts for the unification. It's a great feat but I think the winner of Usyk-Gassiev had a much tougher road to unification.

Beyond all of this, Bud is one of the best IMO and a credit to the sport. Do some go overboard about him? Sure they do and every fighter has fans like that.

Horn is the #1 WW in the world.
