looks horrendous in hindsight but the hype was unreal. it would have been close odds irrespective of prices (in)experience. he was expected to smash someone like thompson to pieces. it was around the time that povetkin struggled against huck and wlad beat him to a pulp, i wouldnt be shocked if a lot of people picked price to win at that time. i remember most people thinking price would demolish fury at that point too.

What exactly is an "undulating skill set?"

Is that code for not being able to stop opponents from shattering his glass jaw?

As much as I'd like to be patriotic and support Price, I really don't see any other end to this other than him flat on his face again.

Every PED head he's faced has smashed him, and I don't think Saturday will be any different. It'll be the 3rd knockout from a PED user.

Even without PEDs Povetkin is a class above any opposition he's ever faced, so you be an idiot to bet against him.

Other than power, Price really doesn't have any other defining features.

Yeah the hype was insane at the time, but similar to the current champions he'd only smashed up has-beens like Audley and a bunch of other no name bin men and taxi drivers to pad his record. The first sign of resistance from Tepper, regardless of his PED use showed he was never going to cut it at the elite level. I mean if you put him in with any of the current top 3 heavyweights in each belt, I doubt he'd be able to take a jab let alone a solid punch from Wilder or Joshua or Ortiz or Whyte or Browne.... I think you get the picture

Just be yourself and stick to the plan Price.

Panic, jab jab, gas, more panic, implode, ship damage, abject terror, atomisation.

Promoters need to protect Price by not hiring him.
