Derevyanchenko doesn't really have the pro experience to challenge Golovkin but he was a decorated amateur so who knows. I'd favor GGG all day but I'd rather see Derevyanchenko than Andrade vs GGG not because I think Derevyanchenko really has a better chance than Andrade but it would make a more exciting fight.

Got you again supporting this weak stuff in the fight game....Jermall Charlo is more proven, can crack too, does get hit & is his mandatory so why not him? Exactly.

Instead I should be supporting a guy who has a fight on the 21st who would literally have to stretch his camp an extra ten days and break his routine in his workout leading up to the biggest fight of his career...weak stuff is asking a fighter to pivot that way, if Charlo is getting the fight it should be the done the right way so it's fair to him. Ironically, considering how bullish you are on the guy you didn't bother to think of the implications of him breaking his routine and how that affects a fighter. Nobody cares if Derevchenko loses which is why he makes a good substitute. If Charlo loses we have an excuse ready though.

That makes a hell of a lot of sense??? Why fight Centeno for a WBC interim title when he can just fight for the REAL title. Win/win. GGG gets his mandatory out of the way and Charlo don't have to waste his time on a scrub for a chance to fight GGG later...
