It is beyond ridiculous that this fight would be hard to make. Wilder wants it, AJ seems to want it, Hearn doesn't want it. If AJ really wants it, he will simply overrule Hearn and say "...let's get it on..."

Hearn said today in an ideal perfect world he would have Joshua win at the weekend and set up a deal for Whyte Vs wilder where the winner is guaranteed Joshua .. the only stipulation being that if wilder loses against whyte he will give him a rematch clause to win back the title before either faces Joshua..

That's not exactly a bad ****ing deal if wilder is willing for that. A payday or even two with Whyte and then a guarantee of joshua?

The reason Hearn is pushing for Wilder to fight Whyte is because (apart from Whyte being Wilder's mandatory) he watched Wilder hang on for dear life in Round 7 against Ortiz and believes Whyte has the tools to beat Wilder and set up a much bigger and more lucrative rematch in the UK between Whyte and AJ.

We can all agree that Eddie loves the big paydays and Whyte/AJ (if Whyte beats Wilder) is bigger than Wilder/AJ, so that's his thinking.

The reason Wilder is looking for a guarantee from AJ is because he (and deep down his fans do too) knows there's a very real possibility of losing to Whyte. If that happens, Wilder's market value will tank, and he'll be forced into the Wilder-ness to either rebuild or retire, with the big money payday against AJ a distant pipedream.

If Wilder fights and beats Whyte, then there should be no further delays in setting up a Wilder/AJ fight.

Miller , Whyte both are easy opponents for Wilder, because they dont have footwork.
If Joshua beat Parker, I think Povetkin will be next fight for AJ.

Does Hearn have any obligation in making this fight for the fans? To hear you talk, it's Team Wilder that's got to be Gumby and fit a certain mold.

Why does anyone want to see Whyte fight Wilder and why is acceptable to recognize that Hearn is playing a financial shell game that doesn't cater to the desires of those who support his fighters?

Wilder does have to fit the mould. He can't be asking for 40% and ****** stipulations or 50% against a fighter that makes 10x more than he does. That's pricing yourself out.

Wilder is the one playing the game. Only wanting the fight if he gets vastly overpaid.

people forget that it's not about giving Wilder what he wants. Joshua seems pretty happy and confortable where he is. The only desperate person here is Wilder.

The world does not owe Wilder any fights or titles. He should check his ego.

I actually don't see Ostrich Legs getting passed Dillian but whatever.
That makes no sense since he's been asking for Joshua since he beat Klitschko. Why on earth would you possibly think DW is scared to fight Whyte? Why would he be scared of anyone? He just wants to be the undisputed champ. That's what boxing is about at the top level.

The AJ protectors cannot even read. Even if the mandatory is called - Wilder will have 1 year from the call to fight the person. So, Wilder can keep Whyte waiting for about years in total - just the right treatment that pathetic Eddie deserves. I personally like Whyte - he is willing to fight anyone although Wilder whoops him but all these crappy gamesmanship by Eddie need to stop. If not, he will be treated the same way he treats others.

I get your point, but right or wrong, boxing is a business. Hearn as a promoter is trying to maximise the cash he & his fighters make.

Realistically he knows that AJ can make huge money fighting anyone and he has plenty of options.

Whyte is less of a draw, but put him in with Wilder and Hearn knows UK fans will lap it up. Big pay day for Whyte and Hearn. Whoever wins, AJ will be there for a mega fight, more cash for all involved.

It's in no way ideal, but that's boxing. It is a business.
