???? i expect to be in fits of laughter, Hammer V price was one of the funniest fights i have ever seen. it's not that i enjoy seeing him hurt or actually dislike him, to the contrary i like Dave as a person, but it's just the way that you know the inevitable is coming...and when it comes, the sight of a 7 foot tall beanstalk wobbling around laying on the ropes struggling to stand upright, like hes just necked 25 pints is much funnier than i ever thought it could be.

He must surely have the worst stamina in the entire history of the sport. his tank is literally empty after 1.5 rounds. no matter what shape he comes in at, or how well hes trained.

Another loss and he will find himself a journeyman fighting other journeyman for 800 quid. But I also blame Eddie for not talking sense into him and promoting Povetkin while using Price as a sacrificial lamb. On the other hand I guess Price wanted a payday...

Good to agree on something for a change.

I can't believe Hearn has done this to Price. It's not like he has proven he can box and survive 6 rounds, never mind 12 rounds against a B level fighter yet, and is older and inactive.

This has KO written all over it.

I hope Povetkin just catches him and he stays down and just retires, I don't want to see him KO'd clean again or badly hurt in all honesty.

Povetkin is the ultimate 12 round fighter who is dangerous in every round, one slip-up and you're gone. Bad news for a guy like Price with **** defence, chin and stamina.

I hope Price could pull off the upset. And hopefully Povetkin won't test positive before or after the fight SMH

The odds for Price to win by ko in round one is 50-1. You could probably add another 3 or 4 zeros and it’d still be poor value. I just hope the end isn’t too horrific. Poor sod.

I am cheering for the big stiff idiot. I have never wanted this man to win more than I do now. I just want him to land that big one two & lay out Povetkin. I don't mind Povetkin but I just want to see Price finally get that big signature win before cashing out in a title fight. Maloney thought he had the next Lennox Lewis & rushed him into a fight with a top 10 fighter or maybe he was having trouble staying in the closet about his crossdressing & wanted to crown another one of his fighters world champion before he put on the dress for good. Price paid dearly for it & never recovered. I like Price & he seems like a good guy so I'm going to cheer for him...

Not being nasty but I really don’t get all the support for Price here.
He seems a nice enough guy though massively deluded.
And he some technical skill but can’t actually fight to save his life.
I completely fail to see the appeal of Price getting an undeserved win against Povetkin and an extremely undeserved world title shot off the back of it.
