Comments Thread For: Parker: Anthony Joshua Has a Rematch Clause - I Don't Need One

Joseph Parker says he only needs one chance against the 'perfect' opponent he will face at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. The unbeaten Kiwi and WBO champion (20-0) will face British superstar Anthony Joshua (24-0) with four heavyweight titles and a potential shot at becoming undisputed champion of the world on the line.

Those are some strong words from mister Joseph Parker!! But to be fair as a champion you'd be ****** not to have one. Anything can happen in boxing !! Rahman beat Lennox Lewis and then got wiped out in the rematch. You never know maybe Joseph Parker lands a clean punch on Joshua and becomes a unified champ who knows!

"yea I don't have a rematch clause but I wish I did in the unlikely event I lose"

Lol cant wait til AJ smashes this clown. Parker, his trainer and promoter have ran their mouths so much it is gonna be fun watching them eat their words on fight night.

I wonder if Joseph Parker will actually put up some resistance. He better not do all this talking and do a Charles Martin!!!

So Parker wants to deliberately lose to Joshua to avoid a rematch ?
