No...joshua would rather deliberately lose to cash in on the rematch and avoid wilder...

A Parker/Joshua trilogy would be worth more than a one off wilder unification.

That fight can marinate for years while windmill loses the plot and grows old or loses to whyte or the gypsy king.

          We'll played fast eddie!

You might be right dude!! I wouldn't be surprised if this fight isn't competitive.

You think Eddie would have have AJ lose just to avoid Wilder??? I think Eddie would just keep the belts in house with Whyte if anything and make Whyte vs Joshua part 2!!

When Parker wins, Eddie has the rematch to promote and windmill backed up to fight whyte as his only real option.

All wilder can do is shout from the sidelines and call out the winner of aj/parker 2 and that's if he gets past whyte himself.

Fast Eddie can't lose and windmill already has by putting all his eggs in to Aj's basket!

In my opinion this shows something I had hoped wasn't the case - this will be the reason Parker got his payday. This is also why they were confident in talking about future matches. If this fight was really what they are saying JP and Joshua would have been potentially tied up for 3 fights not one. Parker has basically cashed out his belt. It has always seemed off, but the hype train and the media spin has been doing their best to paint this as an equal fight but I can't shake that it's a complete mismatch, and every one knows it but they are all getting what they want so don't care. I'll still be watching but mainly to see how Josh Kelly steps up and the lad from down the road Burnett.

Parker doesn't need a rematch clause because after Joshua starches him, he'll go back down under where it's safe.

                      Parker isn't about cashing out.

                      He's about getting them belts!!!
