    No. I believe Usyk has been out in Barcelona and Lomachenko's camp is in Oxnard.

      For me Usyk can be a 60/40 favorite with Papachenko in his corner, while without him I see the fight 50/50.

        Usyk did train out here a couple of times but seems he prefers Europe. Perhaps he can get better sparring there and maybe he just likes it better in general. Gvozdyk also trains out here.

        I'd like to see Usyk work with Anatoly more too.

        I think this will be a close fight and one that Usyk will edge. I don't expect it on May 11th though. You'd have thought they'd already be advertising it and such but nothing confirmed so I'm not holding my breath.

          I see Usyk edging a decision in the final, but that being said, Gassiev was so impressive against Dorticos.

          Good chin, intelligent body work throughout and some huge punching to crack Dorticos chin. The Cruiser tournament has been brilliant - hope the atmosphere in the final suits the occasion!

            No, he isn't. Papachenko trained him only as a part of the Olympic team.

              Gassiev will test his chin an even if it holds i think he will eventually break him down. Yay has to fight careful and stay at range. Usyk is more skilled but I believe gassiev will win this

                As far as I understand the sparring part hasn't started yet. Now they're just working on general physical conditioning. Usually they do it in Ukraine, but this spring was especially cold, so they decided to go to Spain.

                I don't know where Usyk will train when the sparrings start. Maybe, just maybe, it will be in the US. But, in any case, do not expect Anatoly Lomachenko (Papachenko) to train him, because:
                a) he's not his trainer;
                b) he will be busy preparing his son, because Loma himself fights the same weekend as Usyk;

                  Iron stops Usyk in the last round after being outboxed for most of the fight!

                  Gassiev is absolutely relentless and diligent at the same time!

                  He also can counter whatever you do, i see him attacking that body all nite!

                    I am SO PUMPED for this war. I keep track of my predictions for fun, and I am completely unable to pick one here. I enjoy both fighters. I have Usyk way up on my personal P4P list. He is so balanced, calm, and focused in a ring. Very versatile. He is not the most powerful puncher but can KO anyone if given an opening. There are faster out there, but he is quick enough to launch attacks at any opportunity. He really is a fighter with no real weakness. He can adjust to any fighting style. He is feel. Very feel.

                    But... sweet mother pussbucket is Gassiev impressive. He has improved something every time out, and I have only watched a few of his fights. He has power. One punch, change your attitude power. But he is also so calm in the ring, like he knows exactly what he is watching for and will force you to do it sooner or later.

                    How can boxing fans not be more excited over this?? Will say a small prayer on Sunday that HBO or Showtime will come to their senses and carry this.

                    Will change my mind on who I will pick like 6 more times.

                      Gassiev impressed me in his KO of Dorticos ( I picked Dorticos KO 9-12 ) . So I'ma most likely go with him in this one .
