Comments Thread For: Froch: I Just Don't Understand Why Joshua Disregards Wilder

Former world champion and Sky Sports expert analyst Carl Froch is salivating to see a heavyweight unification between IBF, IBO, WBA champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) and WBC champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs). This coming Saturday night, Joshua will collide with WBO champion Joseph Parker at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Actually, Froch should ask Hearn; if Eddy wants it, it will get done.

What a dumb comment from Froch. AJ is not disregarding him - he has a fight against Parker, which is what he is, and should be concentrating on. The rest of the comments tell Wilder not to make ridiculous financial demands.

I've got no problem with Joshua focusing on Parker and not really looking past Parker. However, before the Parker fight was agreed to and before camp for Parker started, Joshua was talking about 2019 and 2020 for a Wilder fight. It seems to me that Froch is taking those statements into account in his opinion that Joshua is "disregarding" Wilder. It probably doesn't help that Hearn says that all Joshua talks about is a rematch with Whyte.

As time goes on its plain to see how unsure AJ's team keep doubting his chin. First they are not 100% sure about Saturday that's why they have a rematch clause where Team Parker doesn't so who has complete faith in their fighter. It appears they worried about Wilder who has genuine knock out power and worry he will climb in the ring, funny how Wilder never objected when Fury entered the ring after he stopped Stiverne they are bottling it big time. Hearn is worried about losing his cash cow that's why they are doing its laughable to be honest - Mark my words if AJ wins it won't be Wilder but Miller or Povetkin if his ordered to face his mandatory.
