BUT its still a weak looking move to switch up your plans like this & not take the risk you can outmaneuver them cuz the reality is if you do you can still make the Joshua vs Wilder fight next. If you can't then Whyte is likely gonna be a soon fight cuz of the mandatory situation, but for sure if you don't even attempt to outmaneuver what Hearn is likely, we don't even know for sure its merely a good bet, to try then its gonna be Whyte as a soon to be mandatory. That is of course unless Joshua says he wants Wilder next cuz ultimately Hearn, Wilder, Whyte, etc & so on are all at the mercy of what Joshua wants to do cuz he's the money guy.

So overall horrible play here by Wilder to me cuz Wilder is a good talker & Whyte & Joshua aren't so I think its plausible Wilder could body Whyte easy & then get that magazine cover moment with Joshua & Joshua vs Wilder becomes the biggest fight of 2018. But maybe Wilder feels like Joshua will be down for him next if he shows up or not.
Your last point hits it on the head. He thinks Joshua wants the scrap. I do too, but we'll see.

Oh well, looks like Wilder just gave up his chance for free promotion to the WORLD media and his chance to sit down with Hearn and negotiate the fight face to face the next day! (providing Joshua wins).

He literally would have been ringside as well, he could have tried to get in the ring if he wanted.

I think he's too scared to make a scene in front of the world and 80,000 AJ fans and knows the bigger, stronger Joshua would easily put it on him if he stormed the ring in front of AJ's family..

I don't blame Wilder for not going. All they would have done was put security in the way and have Whyte bum @$$ try to steal the show. Boxing sucks right now AJ cries and complains about not wanting Wilder to get in the ring and he gets his wish. I don't care if they fight or not now I just lost interest.

He was working for Sky for the Klitchsko fight too, what's your point?

It's clear what the plan was here. Whyte isn't a threat to Wilder at all. That odds would be heavily in favor of Wilder. We all know that.

No....we "wilder ball lickers" want wilder to fight Joshua next, and we want a undisputed champion. We wanna know who is the best. We're not about to pretend that you aj fluffers don't know aj has extra security to keep wilder away from him. We're not about to pretend that him being there helps promote anything about fighting aj because we already know they have no intention of mentioning the fight. We're not about to let you aj fluffers act like his sac is covering your eyes, and you don't see the ambush that Hearn has planned with Whyte. Lastly.....we're not gonna let you deep throaters take away the shine from the fight we as boxing fans want, to give hype to a British level fighter looking to hype his name on a meaningless fight. We want wilder vs Joshua. The question is, why are you Joshua hos so scared to see the fight??? Most fight fans want to see their guy fight the best. But I guess your just content watching him flex his muscles huh????

Wilder made the right call. This guy has no intentions on fighting him.

Good, this isn't wrestling, no need for that garbage. People know who wilder is now after Ortiz fight and people know Joshua. Enough said

There's also a question about Dibella's comments from yesterday. That led me to assume that Hearn already has a date at Barclays in play pending victory. Lou would know since he's the house promoter there.

                      Thought his comment was interesting.
