He still has time to change his mind but he should go...HE NEEDS TO GO!
It's so blatant what the Sky team/Hearn were planning after last weekend's farce.
Smart move by his handlers.

Lmao Wilder just torpedoed Hearn’s grand scheme to throw Whyte in front of Wilder to prevent Wilder getting to his cash cow. I guess this means we get at least two fights we’re not interested in before a unification, AJ vs Fat Baby and Wilder vs Breazeale.

They are clearly afraid of wilder, and doing the best they can to duck him. First we had Hearn trying to sick bellew on wilder during aj vs Wladimir. Bellew did his part but let it be known he didn't want that work at all. This time he already has security to keep wilder away from aj, and he's gonna have Whyte trying to act a fool and promote a meaningless fight instead of any mention of aj vs wilder. We see through the game. Aj won't be ready to fight wilder this summer.....but he'll be ready to fight miller. We now know who's clearly ducking who and not trying to make the fight. Wilder is the clear champion now, and aj is nothing more than a belt holder hiding behind popularity.

Based on the logic they are using I get it. They feel like since this is Hearn's turf he's gonna make a Wilder vs Whyte face off BE THE THING not a Wilder vs Joshua face off. And he's probably right in thinking he'll be out Art of War'd on Hearn's turf in making that the story.
BUT its still a weak looking move to switch up your plans like this & not take the risk you can outmaneuver them cuz the reality is if you do you can still make the Joshua vs Wilder fight next. If you can't then Whyte is likely gonna be a soon fight cuz of the mandatory situation, but for sure if you don't even attempt to outmaneuver what Hearn is likely, we don't even know for sure its merely a good bet, to try then its gonna be Whyte as a soon to be mandatory. That is of course unless Joshua says he wants Wilder next cuz ultimately Hearn, Wilder, Whyte, etc & so on are all at the mercy of what Joshua wants to do cuz he's the money guy.
So overall horrible play here by Wilder to me cuz Wilder is a good talker & Whyte & Joshua aren't so I think its plausible Wilder could body Whyte easy & then get that magazine cover moment with Joshua & Joshua vs Wilder becomes the biggest fight of 2018. But maybe Wilder feels like Joshua will be down for him next if he shows up or not.

SO what is it? dillian doesnt deserve his shot or only deserves it once the AJ fight is out the way and anything about him having a shot beforehand is just him being used a pawn destined to lose in the AJ scheme?

Deflecting attention away from the fight that matters.
