Parker is the danny Garcia of the heavyweights

Just cause you've got your 0 and you sc****d past B level fighters doesn't mean You 'find a way to win' (as they were saying about garcia pre thurman) it just means your not.much better than them. If you sc**** past takam, ruiz and hughie fury then you aren't going to be setting the world alight. He's no more of a challenge than takam, breazele and whyte. If andy ruiz won one or two more rounds the fight wouldn't even be talked about And he'd be considered a bum after losing his 0 lol, fine margins.

Danny Garcia didn't just sc**** past Khan and Matthyse. He won conclusively as an underdog in big fights. In addition to stepping up and beating Holt and Morales at times when people weren't sure if he could. I think he lost to Herrera (clearly) and Peterson (barely), but he's had some quality work in there and his two signature wins are huge.

Mattysse was nothing much imo, couldn't beat Alexander or Judah and got a whole load of hype just for beating Peterson.

Peterson was very good and also Matthyse got robbed in both Alexander and Judah fights. The Alexander one was pretty bad.

Mattysse was something like a 3 or 4-1 favorite over Garcia. Same as Khan.

Danny is an A-Level fighter imo. He may not be as talented as Thurman, Spence, Joshua, Loma, or maybe Crawford but he has a better resume than most. Hell, he argubally has a better 140 record than Crawford and Bradley.

TS had Matthysse beating Danny. Now Matthysse wasn't much. Typical.

Parker didn't impress in his last few and I feel he's a bit underrated because of it. Those were step ups so I do get where the criticism stems.
He's been carrying injuries and been a bit heavy.

He looks the best I've seen him in recent training footage. I'm expecting the best JP to turn up.

I think because he's not been at 100% people have forgot what he can do and the talent he has.
