That could be a problem as he moves up, but yeah he can fight.
And just to make sure you’re talking about Joe Cordina correct?Comment

Just watched a small sample of his work and he seems to have excellent movement and instincts, but he seems to be a slapping puncher at best.

Who did he fight in the Olympics for? I really don't see why you think Buatsi will struggle, he got an Olympics Bronze which is more than anyone else did at the Olympics out of the current light heavyweight champions/contenders. Buatsi has all the attributes to dominate at light-heavy.
I get it though, Brits and all the other Euro countries love to pretend other countrymen are their own they do it all the time in Soccer and now Boxing I guess.
Buatsi was schooled in the Olympics by a proper boxer who could balance range and good ring movement to leave him completely befuddled.Comment

The funny thing is only one person said Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce as one of the best prospects the Uk has to offer.Comment

I’m a proud Yank but I am enjoying the Uk boxing scene.
I was just informed about Josh Kelly in a post from another member today and he looks to be the leader of the pack with his special skill, amateur background, promoter and looks.
But my personal favorite is Anthony Yarde who is very inexperienced but to me has that “it” factor as does Kelly but I like guys who can punch, and with all of Kelly’s ability it seems he is lacking that proper power in his gloves.
So who do you think is the best of The UK prospects?Comment
