On a lighter note what you think of Cordona?I think he is the best out of a very good crop.Thats not counting Tayler who I think is a contender already.

Just watched a small sample of his work and he seems to have excellent movement and instincts, but he seems to be a slapping puncher at best.

That could be a problem as he moves up, but yeah he can fight.

And just to make sure you’re talking about Joe Cordina correct?

Yea would not call him a slapper he may not have huge power but that's not needed as long as he hits hard enough. But he has some ways to go to be complete wont argue that but with how many fights he has had he looks like the goods to me.

Where he was born matters more, you can't just pretend to be Russian like Roy Jones Jr, you belong to where you were born nobody can deny this.
I get it though, Brits and all the other Euro countries love to pretend other countrymen are their own they do it all the time in Soccer and now Boxing I guess.

Buatsi was schooled in the Olympics by a proper boxer who could balance range and good ring movement to leave him completely befuddled.

Yep, that was exactly my point.
He will struggle with people who know how to balance range and know how to move well.

The funny thing is only one person said Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce as one of the best prospects the Uk has to offer.

I was just informed about Josh Kelly in a post from another member today and he looks to be the leader of the pack with his special skill, amateur background, promoter and looks.

But my personal favorite is Anthony Yarde who is very inexperienced but to me has that “it” factor as does Kelly but I like guys who can punch, and with all of Kelly’s ability it seems he is lacking that proper power in his gloves.

So who do you think is the best of The UK prospects?
I agree. Yarde is my favourite at the moment. If only Kelly had a bigger punch he'd be the guy.

Exactly, with kellys style I think a little more power is needed to rise to championship level.

But it’s been done before, macho Camacho and Pernell Sweet Pea comes to mind
