If AJ beats Parker he would either have invited Wilder into the ring after the fight, or spoken to him face to face outside the ring, to comply with BBBoC rules.

True Miller will allow him to get footing in the US. That said, given history, the potential to make AJ look even weaker exists.
You don't want a case like Wlad where he comes here and gets KTFO by a 2nd/3td tier guy. That loss forever tainted wlad in the eyes of many US fans. Losing to the best guy, not a big deal. Losing to a 2nd or 3rd tier guy is.
I get it-wait to fight, make US fans think you fear Wilder which makes the fight hotter and more lucrative, then go in and get the easy win.

Wtf news did I miss? Last I heard Wilder had a commentary gig for this fight? I thought he was booked regardless of any weird "please don't confront me" stance by Joshua & co-signed by Hearn that was among the weirdest things I've ever heard a fighter & his hugely popular fighter say in a serious & concerned way. They were looking like pansies. Now Wilder is gonna look ****** if he's the only top HW seemingly NOT at f#cking ringside at this fight. David "I don't really want a tough fight" Haye is even gonna be there hoping to run into a big fight it sounds like ffs. Briggs gonna be annoying us all with saying "Lets Go Champ" 200 times when they talk to him for 2 minutes probably. Wtf bad move by Wilder if this is legit news that he ain't showing up.

I didn't mean it was your first rodeo, but by saying something like that it seems like it.
They've said many times that Wilder is next on the list. AJs goal is to be undisputed in 2018, but no one seems to listen to it.
How can AJ promise Wilder he can get in after the fight when he has an undefeated champion before him? He needs to beat Wilder first, and if Wilder is invited which he most likely would be, then he can come in.
Probably true about Fury.

Wilder showing he's chasing and serious about the fight by not showing up, just like he was chasing and serious by NEVER contacting Hearn to negotiate.

The optics are terrible. It's not as bad as Bowe putting the title in the garbage, but its bad. Every fan understands AJ can financially survive without fighting Wilder. That isn't how fans want or expect the HWT champ to behave.
AJ can take the the path taken by Wlad or the next Lennox while carving out his career. The main reason Wlad gets less respect than many feel he deserves is his getting KTFO by bums in the US, staying away for a long time, and then only against absolute trash opponents.
lennox on the other hand is much more respected because he was willing to come here to slay the best guys.

Joshua CLEARLY said Wilder can come in the ring but prefers if its only done with a confirmed fight bc hes done this with Tyson Fury before .
Obviously Hearn will want the to build the fight ,hes given the O.K for him to be a commentator there ...Last edited by juggernaut666; 03-27-2018, 10:36 AM.

I don't think Wilder's fragile ego can suffer the humiliation of boos and chants from AJ's home crowd.
