I thought he was supposed to be commentating on the fight?
I guess he's busy trying to push that Breazeale fight through so he can keep talking about Joshua using his name for promotion but not actually fight him.
Not a good look.

Hearn is trying desperately to keep AJ from Wilder and using Whyte to do so. Why is this acceptable to you?
This would be like you wanting GGG to fight Trout instead of Canelo.
Hearn promotes both Whyte and AJ. One of them is Wilder's No1 contender and going crazy to fight him. The other is a unified champ who wants to be the undisputed champ and needs the WBC belt to achieve his aim.
In those circumstances, do you think any boxing promter in the game would not want Whyte to fight Wilder and AJ to fight the winner?
And remember .. Hearn and AJ don't need Wilder. AJ vs Whyte for the undisputed crown would be just as good for AJ and better for Hearn.

I am a USA fan who thinks AJ would probably beat Wilder. I don't think it matters if he meats Joshua face to face or not. Everyone knows when two boxers get in each other's face after one of them finishes a fight that they won't actually hit each other so there is no reason to be afraid. What actually means something is making the fight and signing the contract to fight your rival. They don't even have to be in the same country to do that. The rest of it is climbing into the ring and winning the fight. If Wilder turns down a fair and reasonable offer to fight AJ then he could be accused of ducking AJ. At this point in time no such offer has been made to Wilder so he is not ducking AJ.

Whyte's status will be unchanged by a unification. He can fight the winner, although if it's Wilder he will have wait until after the rematch clause. Obviously Wilder/Whyte would be not as big seeing as AJ already KO'd Whyte.
This is another fact that makes me think Hearn is going to HBO and going to wait on Wilder. I just hate that as a fan.
I get it from a financial position and can't argue Hearn should do anything different.

Joshua already said he scared to stand next to Wilder in the ring. All Hearn was go do was try and have Whyte ambush Wilder in the hallway.
