Ok, I see where you're coming from now. Yeah, he did say it was a rumour, then Kugan asked if it was just a rumour, or is it what he'd been told by Wilder's team, and Hearn said it was what he'd been told.

I think they are both playing games. I think Wilder will turn up, and while he's here they will make a fight, either between Wilder and AJ, or Wilder and Whyte, with the winner to fight AJ next.

          I don't see why not......unless Joshua doesn't intend to fight him anytime soon.....which I believe he won't

Also, didn't just the other day Joshua said he didn't want Wilder in the ring. So how does Deontay go over to promote/hype the fight if he can't get in the ring with AJ?
A deflection to Whyte shouldn't make a difference, if Wilder is the badass that he says he is. He said nobody can KO him, he's the best, he would beat all past greats & present contenders, ect. What better place to promote himself, than at one of AJ's biggest fights? He doesn't have to get in the ring; just his presence ringside should send a message. And you know someone would be interviewing him there, which would make it even more intriguing. The Brits love boxing and would eat it up.

I don't disagree with this. But to post if he doesn't go that shows he doesn't want the fight is downright silly.

Ok, I guess we'll have to see how this plays out. If Wilder doesn't face AJ, maybe we can agree that his not showing up at the Parker fight was a sign.
