Khan needs some serious steroid injected into his neck and jaw if he wants to compete with the big guns of 147 to 160

Virgil Hunter sucks as a trainer. Maybe a good motivator, but as a trainer the cat is a clown. Goosen is much more proven. He won't even get in the ring during breaks, stands on the side like some kind of retárd.
I like Khan, I would love to see him to do well. His chínks appear to be built in now so I would be surprised to see a significent improvement.
All Khan needs is a good old fashioned calibration and some military like discipline. If Goosen can keep Khan fighting long and controlled, we got a serious threat.Last edited by McNulty; 03-26-2018, 05:01 PM.Comment

Joe Goosen is a fantastic trainer, Joe is a stand up guy, I met him down in Atlantic City, after a very game Gabe Ruelas was knocked out in a outstanding fight against Arturo Gatti. Joe will do a very good job getting Amir ready for his next opponent, and whom ever after. Possibly a showdown with Manny, that's where the money is.Comment

At the end of the day, some wise career choices from Amir, signs with a promoter, new trainer, got his life together, if he blows this he is s***. He needs to pick up a couple big wins in 2018 and get some momentum back, he lost 3 years his career avoiding Brook and fighting a middleweight!Comment

Joe actually can --- by other means.
What it comes down to is Khan gets caught in the middle of something more times than he doesn't. He gets hit at those times because he takes poorly timed chances and over-compensates his speed with more speed, that's when he fùcks up.
His speed is awesome, but he tries to nick a bit more and his form takes the hit. That's when he gets caught.
Khan needs to stay on the outside, permanently. 1-2's, long shots to the body. He needs to take some plays out of Chris John's book. John did really well with his 1-2 approach.Comment
