Its a risk bc Wilder does not react well to clean punches . Breazeale is a true heavy handed power puncher who landed on Joshua cleanly at times ( very few times ) but Wilder is more hittable bc he doesnt control fighters like Joshua does which why he wins every round against guys like Takam , and has the skills to out box a Klitchko .

If Breazeale lands one of those clubbing shots and stuns Wilder ,hes a great finisher . Hes also Geralds Washingtons BETTER stable mate ,hes going to have him 24 7 in his camp and get information on Wilder just on that.

Wilder should avoid this fight if he could with the 6'7 power puncher who will be a danger to take one to land one .

Whyte destroys Brezeale. The only thing Brezeale has is his toughness as he showed against AJ. Whyte has toughness also but he at least offers something offensively. Brezeale is terrible offensively.

The guy is the number 2 ranked WBC contender so it's a reasonable fight for Wilder. For some strange reason the ****** WBC doesn't rank Miller at all. Miller is ranked 3rd by everyone else. Wilder should beat Breazeale because he is very slow. Wilder is too fast for him.

Definitely not gonna happen but can you imagine.

If AJ fights Whyte and Wilder fights Breazeale next I will not be happy. Does little to expose the fighters to the others fans or build the fight in any meaningful way

So sad to read something that badly written. A suicide note would be less depressing.

It always seemed like it'd be Breazeale to get the shot if AJ-Wilder didn't happen. He won the WBC eliminator (I know this would be a voluntary just saying) and they had that scuffle/incident/whatever a while back, plus looking at the other options there aren't that many realistic alternatives.

If this weekend goes as expected then with Ortiz and Parker defeated, AJ and Wilder look a level or two above the rest and any interim fight would feel like a letdown. I'd like to see Pulev, Whyte, Povetkin, Breazeale, Miller, Kownacki mix it up amongst themselves. But to be fair to Breazeale he has taken a more dangerous fight to get in contention (Izu) than any of those guys have done in the last year or so. I don't have that much of an issue with him getting picked ahead of the other guys.

This guy just defeated a guy that Wilder beat 3 years ago!
How does he rate a title shot with only two wins off a defeat from attempting to earn a title?
Wilder's next bout should be with Joshua there's no skirting this, they need each other and if it's a worthy bout the rematch just guarantees more money.

Even the promoters act like a loss is the end of a career, reminds me of the fans who thinks the same.

Fight one in England the nest in the USA and have a great heavyweight fight as the semi.

Maybe we will get Wilder vs Breazeale and Joshua vs Miller.
If Wilder faces Breazeale, Joshua and Whyte may rematch. It seems to be a fight Hearn wants to make, but it's a pointless fight if Whyte takes a L to Wilder in the mean time I would of thought.

Anyway, Parker next up before any moves are made.
