Recent history has made Joseph Parker confident he can win a decision against Anthony Joshua on Saturday night. In just his last fight, New Zealand's Parker traveled to the United Kingdom and won a majority decision over British challenger Hughie Fury. I cant see it being a scorecard fight in all honesty. BUT..

1. you arent winning on scorecards unless its a shut out.
This is AJ in britain with more belts and more money generating ability.

2. based on what ive seen... even the robotic plod of AJ has a higher technical ceiling than gung-ho come forward parker.

AJ"s limited movement, basic footwork, lack of stamina and slower hand speed lowers his ceiling to canvas level.

I actually think most of the time, judges are honest and score what they see. There have been tons of robberies and really bad cards, but more often than not judges score the fight right. But it being in England, every time Joshua connects with anything, the crowd will go wild. Judges are human, and if all things are equal how can you ignore the raw emotion in a packed house?

Parker needs to take the crowd out of the picture. He needs to be effective early and often and keep the pro-Joshua legion at bay. I bet he could get a decision then. If it is a close fight and the crowd is into it, I see Joshua getting the benefit of doubt.
